World Vision’s Category III Ebola Response is intentionally scaling through an integrated food voucher, voucher-for-work, and food security project for the most vulnerable Ebola-affected populations.

As Chief of Party – Ebola Response, DRC you will provide overall leadership and an integrated vision to various actors and through components of the project and will be responsible for achieving the project’s results. You will ensure representation, quality design/re-design, staffing, implementation, financial oversight, monitoring and reporting in compliance with donors’ & WVI policies and standards. You will identify project implementation issues and risks in a timely manner and suggest appropriate program adjustments.


  • At least 5years of experience in the design and implementation of international development projects.
  • At least 3 years of senior-level project management experience in conflict-affected environments, experience in eastern DRC preferred.
  • Experience overseeing the administrative, contracting, financial and logistical aspects of budgets close to $4 million a year.
  • Post-graduate degree in relevant fields such as international development, education, economics, or business.
  • Experience and familiarity with WFP and USAID regulations and reporting requirements.
  • 3-5 years management experience in the food logistics (warehousing, transportation, distributions) and Cash/voucher programing.
  • Professional level written and oral English, proficient written and oral French are both required (FSI 3/3 and equivalent skill level).
